It's an exciting time of year when your fruit trees show that they survived the winter and start sprouting fragrant blossoms. This was a pretty easy "winter" on the gulf coast, with no need to cover my citrus trees with a sheet or string them with Christmas lights as we did last year. My baby peach tree was the first to bloom in pretty pink bell shaped blossoms, and I look forward to seeing how it matures over the coming weeks, and whether wind or feathered friends interfere with future fruit.
